PROJECT: Perry's Steakhouse and Grill - Austin, TX
OBJECTIVE: In 2007 Chris Perry contacted Eric Bernstein to discuss his new Austin location. After building 7 restaurants Mr. Perry had become tired of the "muzak" sound and wanted a sound and video system that was along the same quality as his famous food. He also wanted a video and audio system that could be controlled from the managers office and monitored at the upstairs event office.
OBSTACLES: Histrorical LBJ building in downtwn Austin. Live band 7 nights per week amplified into any/all 11 zones of the restaurant. Ability to control video content on each display throughout the facility from the upstairs event office. Emergency shut-off of entire system in the event of an alarm event.
RESULTS: A very high quality, low impedence sound system capable of 12 different audio inputs routed to 11 zones. A 720p HD video system with the ability to route 8 inputs to 8 discrete video outputs distributed to 13 displays. Upon completion ILS was awarded the next restaurant which opened in Katy, TX in late 2009 followed by Dallas in 2010. We are currently working on the San Antonio location scheduled to open August 2011.
