Porsche Austin
Intelligent Lighting Services (ILS) was asked by Hi Tech Automotive to design a complete turn-key AV system for their new Porsche dealership in Austin, TX. Eric worked closely with Managing Partner Kirk Franceschini and Architect Abbey Teeters from Gensler on the integration of the sound and video systems into the new 183,000 sq ft facility (North Americas’ largest) as well as the 6th floor lighting system which Kirk and Eric designed to showcase ten (10) hand-picked Porsche’s for the 200,000+ cars which pass the dealership daily.
Operating several other luxury brand dealerships (Audi, Maserati, Aston Martin, Lotus, Rolls Royce and Bentley) and located in the only current U.S. city with a F1 track, Kirk insisted on something unique that would make the car world take notice. What transpired was over a year of discussions, designs, demos and approvals in order to find the correct blend of technology and function that best reflected both Kirk’s vision and Porsche’s corporate brand.
Living Word Church - Houston, TX
Following a bad experience with their AV integrator over twelve (12) years ago, Living Word Church in Houston, TX was hesitant in trusting anyone with their long-needed lighting and control upgrades. Pastor Kevin Ross was tasked with finding an AV company that the committee members could trust and the staff rely upon for guidance and support. In January 2019 Pastor Ross reached out to Eric Bernstein through the Lighting Ministries website to discuss the wants and needs of the church as well as their future plans for the AV department. After an onsite meeting which turned into numerous demos, designs, a thorough background check and a pandemic, Living Word officially awarded the design, specification, sales and installation of their new new house and stage lighting system to Intelligent Lighting Services in January 2021.

Pastor Michael Kelly recently performed an AV upgrade/remodel to his sanctuary at Central Triad Church in Winston-Salem, NC. and once again reached out to Eric for help since first working with him in 1991 at his father’s church. The Pastor also helped Eric establish Lighting Ministries in 2009 and continues to help other churches with their AV. Since 1990 Eric has been working with owner Ira Sandler on his lighting, sound and video in this iconic, 5 venue SF nightspot which recently celebrated its 30yr anniversary. In preparation of both the anniversary and their involvement in Super Bowl 50 festivities, Ira contacted Eric for help on his latest upgrade. What has happened over the past 10 months is one of the largest remodels we have done to date. Special thanks to Scot Peterson for all of his help in leading the installation.

Cameron ISD Yoe Stadium, Baseball Complex and Gym - Cameron, TX
Eric was contacted by Collin Clark, Superintendent of Cameron Independent School District, to assist in the installation of a Meyer Milo line array system donated to the district by Texas A&M University. After looking at the donated equipment and meeting with the Superintendent concerning the Football Stadium, Eric was asked to also propose a sound system for their new baseball complex as well as replacing their outdated system in the Gymnasium for budget consideration. After several trips and meetings the three systems were proposed and subsequently approved. Installation was complete in time for both Volleyball and Football Seasons.
